In 2009 my research has taken me to a few different places where I had the research influence my design work. One piece of research was the writing of Jane Kelsey an Auckland University Law lecturer. The New Zealand Experiment was about the decade of greed a term that describes the way The New Zealand government ran New Zealand, where privatisation was rife and a lot of people lost their jobs and the gap became bigger between the rich and the poor. Some say that New Zealand is still suffering.


My project The New Zealand Experiment part ll is a look, in some respects, at politics today, but more importantly learning from your mistakes. This light box will be accompanied by a series of 10 hand pulled screen prints, the process can be seen in my studio blog.
